Legal Status

Gurukul Matindu was registered as a public charitable society called “Shiksha Parishad Gurukul Matindu” in the year 1967-68 under the Society Act-1860. In Mar 2012, Haryana Govt enacted ‘ The Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act 2012’. The Act required all the Societies earlier registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860, to re-register themselves. Accordingly, the society was re-registered on 22 Apr 2013 . In the year 2013, the Haryana Societies Act 2012 was amended to provide conversion of the Societies into Trusts. Therefore, in accordance with the Haryana Registration and Regulations (Amendment) Act 2013, the general body of the Society decided to convert the existing Society into Trust by a special resolution.On 08 Aug 2016 the new Trust was registered keeping the same name , aim and objectives. The Trust “Shiksha Parishad Gurukul Matindu” is a non-profit, non-proprietary, charitable Trust committed to excellence in the field of education. The Trust is maintaining Indian culture, heritage, tradition and ethos, while it believes in providing progressive modern education.
