Havan

Performance of havan has purifying effect on the atmosphere. The combined effect of the ‘Samgiri’ , ghee and ‘Samidha’ produces tremendous amount oxygen and destroys harmful bacteria in the atmosphere. Here at Gurukul Senior Secondary School we have been meticulously following the age old tradition of the institution of performing ‘Havan’ twice a month with students and teachers. The ‘Havan’ is followed by lectures on values and culture of the society. Hostellers perform ‘Sandhya’ also every morning. A yajya-shala has been constructed to provide suitable environment for ‘Havan’.

Tree Plantation

The school has very good green coven. Students are encouraged to plant tree in the school premises and also in their villages.
