About Co-curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities, as the word suggests, forms integral part of the curriculum at Gurukul. All the students are encouraged to take part in these activities. They are held at school level as inter house and inter class competitions, where as the school teams participate in inter school competitions at district, state and national/ CBSE level. The activities are held as celebration of birthdays of great leaders of country like Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri , teachers day, grandparents day, annual day, athletic meet, independence day, republic day, Inter house debate, declamation , patriotic song & dance, science quiz, maths quiz, spell o quiz, calligraphy competition, drawing and painting, poster making and so on. In field of games and sports inter house competition are organized for athletics, cricket, basket-ball, volley-ball, kho-kho, table tennis, boxing, wrestling, throw ball etc. These competitions are held for boys as well as girls and at three different levels as per age so as to give full opportunity to all the students to excel in different skills.
